Leah grew up in South Auckland and has more than 30 years in business behind her. She started at Westpac in the 1980s and has since worked across small business, retail, trades, health and fitness, professional services, governance and whānau-led enterprises.
She's known for a calm, practical approach: making the complicated simple, so owners and trustees can see where they stand and what to do next.

Do you only work with Franklin businesses?
No. Leah works with clients across South Auckland and the wider Tāmaki Makaurau region, and Ake has clients throughout the North Island. Most of the day-to-day work runs through Xero, so distance isn't a problem.
Can we meet at our place?
Yes. If you're on the tools or on the land, Leah can come to you, or we can meet online.
Do you work with Māori trusts, marae and charities in Tāmaki Makaurau?
Yes. Māori land trusts, marae and charities are a big part of Ake's work. We look after annual accounts and reporting, and we run governance training for trustees, including in South Auckland.
